Since I listen to music/podcasts/audiobooks throughout the day while I’m working, I adapted a pair of normal safety earphones for speakers, and added a vintage look. I cut the outside portion of the cups off, replaced with a curved flat sheet of plastic -over which I mounted the grill (from an old record player) and the cork which I sanded to shape. Then I painted the rest of the shell green, and installed some $50 drivers. I still use them daily.

South Australian Consumer Affairs Minister Jennifer Rankine said the Fire Footbag was made from fire resistant material and was meant to be soaked in flammable liquid and ignited. “The Fire Footbag essentially becomes a flaming missile which presents extreme safety risks for people who could quite easily be burned by the footbag once it’s been set alight,” Ms Rankine said. “Making such a dangerous item available to children or anyone else is absurd and unacceptable.” The Fire Footbag has already been identified by the Federal Government as a dangerous toy. One incident had been reported in Western Australia in which a teenage boy suffered burns to his hands while trying to use it. Ms Rankine said that while there had been no reports of injuries in South Australia, the Government had decided to act. “The Fire Footbag clearly presents significant health and safety risks,” she said. If you own a Jura F90 Coffee Maker, you can also buy a Jura Internet Connection Kit, which lets you program and set your coffee prefs via the network: however, its got a bunch of vulnerabilities that allow for remote denial-of-coffee attacks: Guess what - it can not be patched as far as I can tell ;) It also has a few software vulnerabilities. Fun things you can do with a Jura coffee maker: 1. Change the preset coffee settings (make weak or strong coffee) 2. Change the amount of water per cup (say 300ml for a short black) and make a puddle 3. Break it by engineering settings that are not compatible (and making it require a service) (via Denial-of-coffee attacks affect networked coffee-maker - Boing Boing
